Comply with HSSE and company’s policies, procedures, code of business conduct and legislation performance of the duties.  Work with Material Project Management to develop and implement strategies and plans to ensure delivery through rigorous and proactive performance management of suppliers.  Monitor, evaluate, and report supplier’s performance to identify current drawbacks and recommend improvement plan.  Report to the client and project management the current orders status, potential risk causes, and develops recovery plans to ensure sustainability of the project delivery schedules.  Identify and provide the project expediting plan and project specific expediting procedure after reviewing the project contract.  Identify project expediting requirements and form the appropriate team to meet the set objectives. Interview, hire and oversee the training of new staff whenever required.  Review the scope of supply of the purchase order, delivery dates, required on-site dates, and supplier’s historical performance. Exchange communication protocol with supplier and act as the focal point of contact.  Maintain an expediting record (E-folder) for each Purchase Order, including supplier contacts, field expediting reports, schedules and plans, key documents, inspection and expediting reports that shall be used throughout the project period.
