ion Engineer – Mechanical

Job Requirements: 1. Minimum 12 years in the Construction field related to oil & gas industries, petrochemicals, refineries with particular experience in fabrication and erection of equipment. 2. Should have experience in inspection of piping, fabrication, welding/installation, tank erection, pressure vessel fabrication for petrochemical/oilfield/ refineries, plant piping etc. 3. Knowledge of rigging study and safety standards applicable to carry out erection is a must. 4. Should have experience in preparation of detailed fabrication drawings, as-built drawings, MTOs and erection schedule. 5. Should be fully conversant with welding details, NDT requirements and the QC procedures. 6. Supervises and coordinates a crew of various craft skills (i.e. welders, crane operators, structural fitters, laborers, etc.) 7. Oversee mechanical construction activities to ensure compliance with construction schedules, drawings, job specifications and procedures 8. Monitor labor costs, supplies and materials are received, used and charged appropriately 9. Follow all safety rules, recognize and report safety hazards 10. Analyzes and resolves work related problems 11. May supervise workers engaged in cleaning and painting. 12. Interfacing with discipline counterparts, construction, vendors and clients. 13. Familiar with related industrial codes including ASME B&PV, API, ANSI, ISO, and building codes relating to equipment mechanical design. 14. Familiar with other related technologies including metallurgy and welding techniques Qualifications : Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering Graduated 2002 or before Required Posting Location : Saudi Arabia (Rabigh)
