ed IT Technician

Responsibility:
Responsible to configuring & manage Domain Controller, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP & Group Policy.
Managing and configuring shared drives permission for different departments.
Working knowledge of the servers (Dell & HP)
Knowledge on security system like antivirus.
Knowledge & Experience on changing basic configuration in the firewalls.
Knowledge about Avaya PBX telephone system.
Configuring and troubleshooting basic issues of network printers.
Knowledge about Cameras & DVR system (CCTV).
Perform data backups and maintain of backups based on ISO standards.
Good knowledge & troubleshooting skills on hardware, software and networks.
Basic knowledge about Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains (ERP).
Knowledge about configuring and troubleshooting of Wi-Fi equipment’s.
Organize and schedule upgrades and maintenance without affecting others from completing their work
Recommend changes to improve systems and network configurations, and determine hardware or software requirements related to such changes.
Coordinating with vendors for purchasing of new IT requirements.
Asset management, documentation of IT process & tracking of IT related details. Requirements:
At least 1-3 years’ experience in IT, Hardware, Desktop, Server & Network support.
Proven experience as IT Technician or relevant position.
Excellent diagnostic and problem solving skills.
Excellent English communication ability.
In depth understanding of diverse computer systems and networks
Good knowledge of networking & security.
Degree in Computer Science, engineering or relevant field.
Certification as IT Technician will be an advantage (e.g. A+, Microsoft Certification, Cisco Certification)
